STAR Cryoelectronics is the only commercial producer of superconducting tunnel junction (STJ) spectrometers for soft X-ray synchrotron beamlines offering high count rates (~1 Mcps) and high energy resolution (<10 eV FWHM at 525 eV). Arrays of 36- and 112-pixel arrays are available with snouts that can be mounted to a standard 2.75” or 6” conflat port, respectively, on a sample chamber.
